Why Privacy Blur?
Blur and pixelation let you safely share screenshots and photos while hiding faces, license plates, addresses, or other sensitive details. This tool runs entirely in your browser—no uploads, no sign-up.
FAQs
Is face detection guaranteed?
It depends on your browser’s support for the Shape Detection API. If it’s unavailable, you can still use brush/selection tools to mask areas manually.
Will my image be uploaded?
No. Everything happens locally in your browser using Canvas. Your files never leave your device.
Blur vs Pixelate?
Blur softens details and looks natural; Pixelate creates blocky squares and can be easier to notice in thumbnails.
